<P>Once you have the Atlas backplane, a suitable power supply, Ozy or Magistrar for communications, Mercury for Receiving and Penelope for transmitting here are the additional pieces:</P>
<P>1. A means of switching antenna from rec to xmit and you build your own relay internace for this or use NT electronics version.</P>
<P>Now you have a complete rig but only wirh 400mw output I have made contacts with just this setup.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>If you want to step a bit on power you need an amp, there are a lot of small amps that work, the TAPR Penneywhistle is a good start but you do need a set of LP filters in addition to this amp.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>You can use NT electronics amp which has LP filyers built in.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>You can use one of the Tokyo Hy Power QRP amps for around 45 watts out.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>You can wait for ALex LP HP filters which are right around the corner and use them with Pennywhistle.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>Once you have Alex filters the 100 watt amp from TAPR group should not be far behind or you can brew your own knowing you have good LP filters in Alex.</P>
