VAC trial versions can't be used for any SDR. The program speaks by
itself (Test...Test...Test...) so it interferes with your reception
and even with the transmission. <br>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">I have difficulty to get
WSPR reception working via VAC (trial version). </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">I have Atlas and
Mercury-Eu working well with PowerSDR PowerSDR (v1.10.4+
BaseSVN 2025). Previously I connected the analog audio
output of Mercury to the analog input of the computer
soundcard and WSPR 2.11. I then had -30 dB rx noise, lots of
WSPR signals on 40m and a lot of decodes, even with weak DX
signals. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">I then installed with
VAC (4.10.0.2536 trial). I have setup two Virtual Audio
Cables. I set the PowerSDR audio output as Virtual Cable 2,
and WSPR audio input as Virtual Cable 2. In the VAC Control
Panel I set Virtual Cable 2 as follows: Max.instance 20, Ms
per int 5, SR range 11025..96000, BPS range 8..32, Stream
format Cable range, Volume control disabled. With PowerSDR
and WSPR started, it reads SR 48000, BPS 32, NC 2, Rc stms
1, Pb stms 1.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">I see the Overflow
counter increase nearly 1 per second, Underflow is on 42 and
steady. In WSPR I see Rx noise at -28dB and I see a
waterfall and some transmissions from time to time, but
nothing is decoded. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Please you advice!</span></p>
