Thanks Riho,<br>
<br>
Uninstalled V.11 and updated batch files for my v10.0sp1 version
of Quartus and now AOK on the load of both Mercury and Penny.<br>
<br>
Thanks again for your help and apologies for the noise on the list.<br>

Hi, Justin<br>
<br>
Take a look at windows device manager:<br>
<br>
1. If you connect Ozy to the PC you should see "LibUSB-Win32
Devices - Ozy/Magister Host Assisted Firmware Load"<br>
If not, install libusb signed driver for unkown device -
<a moz-do-not-send="true" class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="http://openhpsdr.org/downloads/programs/libusb0-driver-signed/libusb-driver_Signed.zip">http://openhpsdr.org/downloads/programs/libusb0-driver-signed/libusb-driver_Signed.zip</a><br>
<br>
2. Right after running for example Program-Penelope-EPCS4.bat
file you should see "Altera USB-Blaster" under USB controllers
section.<br>
If not, install Altera USB-Blaster drivers for unkown device which
are in catalog C:\altera\10.1sp1\qprogrammer\drivers\usb-blaster<br>
<br>
However, Quartus II Programmer v11<span class="Apple-style-span"
style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Verdana, Arial,

-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;
background-color: rgb(221, 221, 221); "></span> didn't work for
me and came up with the same error message - "<span
class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvatica, sans-serif; font-size:
11px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight:

-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none;
-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;
background-color: rgb(221, 221, 221); "></span> Programming

I'm using v10.1sp1 now instead and this version works OK . You can
find it here:<br>

Apologies if I have missed this solution in the archives. <br>
<br>
Decided to reflash all boards following a PowerSDR update that
needs firmware updates now that Alex has been installed. Last
upgrade was a 8-9 months ago! <br>
<br>
Downloaded latest Altera programmer to find it is now V.11.0
quick update to the batch file solved that problem. Reflashed
Ozy AOK even though probably didn't need to however, Mercury and
Penny both now come up with the error message "Error:
Programming hardware cable not detected" <br>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvatica, sans-serif; font-size:
11px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight:
normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 14px; orphans: 2;
text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none;
white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;

-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width:
0px; background-color: rgb(221, 221, 221); "></span><br>
I assume this is related to the V.11.0 version upgrade??? <br>
<br>
I have tried using the original V10.0sp1 programmer I originally
installed but same message. <br>
<br>
Any ideas? <br>
