For 23 cm and 13 cm I’m using analogue down converters for the
50MHz IF of HPSDR. The phase noise of the LO should not extend -130
dBc @ 10 kHz offset, not so easy to achieve for frequencies above 1 GHz.
In my case a 138,444 MHz VCXO, built with a JFET and a 2 stage multiplier
does this job: phase noise around – 137 dBc@10 kHz offset. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
