Odd timing to say the least. Strange to know you just payed decent
money for a product you won't see for another month or two and a
potential more powerful successor is already announced.

Hi Dean

It seems you have not read the MSG properly. Read it again.
its not in the same price class as Hermes and its not going to
compete with Hermes.

Is there any competition between Flex radios Flex 5000 and the
new announcement Flex 6500/6700?
Angelia is a totally different product and going to compete in
the big league. It is the real game changer.
IMHO timing is just right.

your pricing comment "decent money" is subjective. $895 for
Hermes is supposed to be non profit version as TAPR has
announced this pricing and they produce products on no profit
basis and Abhi has matched that price for the community. Actual
price should be approx $2500 at least for a commercial vendor.
Can you buy a obsolete products produced by a established
company's entry level radio for this price you just paid? I
think they go for double the price and not to mention
technologically obsolete.

Angelia is not a entry level radio but a premium radio nor is
the Hermes though HPSDR community got it at a price of entry
level radio. So please stop whining about Angelia's timing.
