<div style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; FONT-STYLE: normal; FONT-FAMILY: Courier New, courier, monaco, monospace, sans-serif; COLOR: rgb(0,0,0); FONT-SIZE: 16px; RIGHT: auto"><SPAN style="RIGHT: auto">Thanks for your comments. Several users of HRD are having success with Win 7 64bit, so there isn't a serious <VAR id=yui-ie-cursor></VAR>driver issue. Yes, VAC is working ok according to its control panel, but its the connection between the HRD radio and DM780 which fails. I'm using an ethernet LAN with Netgear switch, which works fine between my other computers all still on XP. Maybe its because the radio is on the odd one out, 7, which obstinately won't join the network.</SPAN></div>

<DIV style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; FONT-STYLE: normal; FONT-FAMILY: courier new, courier, monaco, monospace, sans-serif; COLOR: rgb(0,0,0); FONT-SIZE: 16px"><SPAN>Now using a Toshiba laptop with i7-2640M 2.8GHz, 8GB RAM and solid state hard drive, Windows 7 64bit (almost impossible to find 32 bit here) and latest PowerSDR software/HPSDR firmware on Atlas system. All loads and runs without any issues after removing much of the pre-installed bloatware </SPAN><SPAN>- hurray!! VAC works ok with the computer in Testsigning mode so that the driver loads. No problem with vspmanager, or with loading HRD.</SPAN></DIV>

<DIV><SPAN>However, although the HRD radio display works, and DM780 reads radio frequency and signal strength, no audio reaches the DM780. Connection using TCP/IP tries but drops out, despite use of correct address.</SPAN></DIV>
