It's been 4 months and I was curious if there was any progress in
getting this kit together. I tried mailing David directly a few
weeks back but did not get a response. Has anyone else heard
anything? I really appreciate the initial work he did to get this
going, and can understand if life got in the way, but I'd just
like to know if progress is being made, and whether another
alternative should be pursued.

Thanks,

RG-178 is OD 0.072 inch, RG-316 OD is 0.102 inch.

The wireman says his RG-178B/U is mil-spec, ptfe dielectric,
class 9 teflon jacket, silvered copper shield.

Is that teflon mil spec 316?
<br>
If so easily available.

Dave,
<br>
Thanks very much for moving ahead with this project, and
your willingness to
<br>
hash out the details. For myself, I see no problem with a
longer lead time.
<br>
This is especially true if the proven design of two
boards/brass shim stock
<br>
is to be changed. It would be good to build and test a
prototype (or 2) to
<br>
prove the performance of a single-board version of the 3
bead reflection
<br>
bridge.
<br>
<br>
I also note that Sam used some high quality RG-178 (teflon?)
in his design.
<br>
I don't know what the material from the wireman is like.
<br>
<br>
In any event, count me in!
<br>

<br>
Bruce, N1RX
