Beppe,
Renamed the thread.

OpenHPSDR PowerSDR CAT commands are largely compatible with the FLEX
CAT commands. There are some Flex hardware specific commands that
do not work with OpenHPSDR PowerSDR and vice-versa. Note that the
CAT commands and structure used in all implementations of PowerSDR
are similar to the Kenwood CAT commands, with command extensions
consisting of ZZxx style commands.

Flex publishes PowerSDR CAT Command Reference guide dated 1/31/13 at
http://support.flexradio.com/Downloads.aspx?fr=1 . Do NOT download
the SmartSDR CAT User Guide!

OpenHPSDR PowerSDR includes the ability to send CAT commands to
Hermes/Angelia based OpenHPSDR radios and to examine the responses.
The PowerSDR, Setup, CAT Control tab contains the "Test" button.
Pressing this button brings up the CAT Command Tester Dialog. You
can use the Flex documentation and the CAT Command Tester to
determine which commands work with OpenHPSDR PowerSDR and your
OpenHPSDR radio.

Test examples, OpenHPSDR PowerSDR 3.1.5 with ANAN-100D:
1. ZZMT Sets or reads the TX Meter mode.
Responses differ from Flex Doc.
2. ZZPC Sets or reads the PA Drive level
Response the same as Flex Doc. Similar to Kenwood PC CAT
command.
3. ZZRM Reads the receiver Console meter values
Responses differ from Flex Doc.

FLEX CAT COMMAND ZZRM:
ZZRM Reads the Console meter values
Get ZZRM P1; Example: ZZRM0; Returns signal strength in dbm during
RX. ZZRM0-103.3 dBm;
Set
Answer
ZZRM P1P2P2P2P2P2P2P2P2P2P2P2P2P2P2;
Notes
P1 Values:
0 = Signal Strength
1 = Average Strength
2 = ADC_L
3 = ADC_R
4 = ALC
5 = Forward Power
6 = Peak Power no longer used, will return “?;”
7 = Reverse Power
8 = SWR
P2 is padded left with spaces.
ZZRM is read-only. SWR only works in TUN.

Notes:
PowerSDR returns the command received and appends the result to
that command.
When PowerSDR receives an unknown command it returns ?;

At the present time, OpenHPSDR PowerSDR Cat command ZZRM5
returns "ZZRM50.00 W;" or 0.00 W for forward power values when
transmitting 100 watts with the ANAN-100D. ZZRM7 reverse power
returns the same result, regardless of actual reflected power.
Sending ZZRM8; (SWR) when transmitting with the TUN button always
returns ZZRM81.0 : 1;, regardless of actual SWR.

The ZZRM seems to work correctly for signal strength and average
strength.
