Some serial and some parallel. It would be very cool to have a programmable user interface to control some of this stuff. Summer is coming with high static and it would be nice to have a tracking preselector on the receiver front end so local broadband noise doesn't saturate the A/D. I presently use switches for control. I'm sure we could never afford to build some of these cool mil preselectors. Harris, Cubic, Racal and Collins made some nice ones.
