The ANAN-NET meets on 14.340 Mhz on Sundays at 1815Z. As ever, it
will meet at 12:15 PM local time in the Central time zone. Any
shift is due to "Daylight Savings Time" vs. "Standard Time." The
GMT-time reference will shift by one hour, when the daylight savings
time (DST) makes its twice-yearly alternation.<br>

I <b>still</b> have opposite-sideband bleed on my ANAN-100 radio!
I have gone through many, MANY changes, all to no avail. My IMD is
more dramatic than I had ever realized, which is why I have been
spending so very much time and effort changing the various firmware
versions (V. 2.5, 2.7, 2.9 and 3.0) and also HPSDR PowerSDR
applications. The basic trouble is still there!<br>
<br>
Warren and Rob have been GENEROUSLY helpful all last week! I simply
cannot stress the gratitude that I feel for the superior assistance
that they have given me. I had others that helped (thank you!)
also, but these two fellows went "above and beyond..!"<br>
<br>
I have now sent an email to Apache's support. I hope to be able to
find a resolution, soon. Mainly, my ANAN-100 always has drawn very
few amps when I press the PTT in SSB mode. I am seeing about 1.5
Amps added current, when I go from RX to TX mode. This should be
more like THREE amps! As a result, it appears that my drivers
and/or RFPA transistors are either in a failure mode, or the bias
settings are off. Interestingly enough, I do have full power output
in SSB and CW. -But not as clean as the FCC rules suggest.<br>
<br>
When I enable Warren's super-FINE PureSignal, it mostly resolves the
distortion and IMD, but this is not a good or permanent fix! Thanks
to Warren, I am now able to run the radio with no spatter, etc!
(Thank you, WARREN!!)<br>

As usual, I will have my Livestream video/audio streaming on line
for the ANAN-NET session. I will plan on using LIVESTREAM for
anyone that might have an interest in seeing and hearing what I see
and hear from my ham station, which is South-East Minnesota. My
Livestream link is as follows:<br>
livestream.com/k0jta<br>
<br>
When you first get to the linked Livestream web site, there is a
short commercial that you will have to endure before the feed (video
and audio) is allowed to pass to you. There is also a several
second DELAY in the audio and video feed, due to the internet and
hardware needs.<br>
