I blew the dust off a couple of my "old" M-Audio
ProFire 2626 audio interfaces today, hoping to use one with
PowerSDR.

I was able to get the Windows 7 ASIO drivers running (on Windows
10) and one of the interfaces making RX audio, but as soon as I
tried to transmit all audio I/O stopped. A restart of PowerSDR
caused an application error. I ended up turning the 2626 off,
which allowed me to start PowerSDR and disable the VAC connection.

So... The 2626's are overkill for the application, "old", and not
supported directly on Windows 10. Does anyone have suggestions for
inexpensive USB or FireWire audio interfaces that will play nicely
with PowerSDR and hopefully other applications using PortAudio
v19? I need to build a test harness for audio features I may
submit for PowerSDR in the future. I'm familiar with the PortAudio
library interfaces and PowerSDR uses it as well, so all that seems
to align.
Thanks,
