Warren, I just listened to yr great <a
href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuDcMZv7NxY">Friedrichshaven
2016 lecture via YouTube</a>. <br>
"Improvement x Nothing = Nothing" is the expectation-setting quote
of the century!<br>
<br>
The audio examples in the lecture theatre are a bit difficult to
hear. Are hi-fi originals (or similar examples) filed somewhere? I
would be fascinated to hear them in full gorgeous Technicolor.<br>
<br>
I have spent the last few years writing NR DSP on two different
non-PC hardware platforms and would be interested to compare results
and to spread the word.<br>
<br>
Our latest evolution runs as a stand-alone Rx audio add-on running
on a low-cost and off-the-shelf (no soldering required) <a
href="http://www.microchip.com/Developmenttools/ProductDetails.aspx?PartNO=DM330011">post-processor</a>.
This is aimed at a completely different market to HPSDR - except
that in reality, the whole SSB/CW world nowadays is being brought to
a halt on HF by noise.<br>
<br>
And if you would permit a small advert, this note is also a request
for anyone who would like to assess and contribute to this open
development to join in at our <a
href="https://uk.groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/SNR_group/info">Yahoo
Group</a>. We need to know how it behaves when added to the Rx
audio-out of a wide range of old and new HF commercial boxes.<br>
