P.S. I must say that i was wrong. You cant set "LO offset" higher
than "Begin freq". That was the problem.
You tell to PowerSDR that you have a low side LO. PowerSDR doesn't
care what you physically have. It just
gives you a correct IF range. Calculate low side LO,
144-28=116MHz and tell to PowerSDR that:
LO offset - 116 MHz
LO Error - 0 kHz
Begin freq - 144 MHz
End freq - 148 MHz

Hi Tomas,

I don't have any yet. I just gave you a rapid suggestion. I now
played XVTR setup settings a bit
and my suggestion to you is as this example:

Transverter specs:
RF range - 144 ... 148 MHz
LO frequency - 172 MHz
IF range - 28 ... 32 MHz

PowerSDR XVRT's setup:
LO offset - 172 MHz
LO Error - -4000khz (NB! minus four thousand khz NB! which is 4
MHz RF range)
Begin freq - 144 MHz
End freq - 148 MHz

Hi all,

I'm currently using a Hermes Lite 1 with PowerSDR
v3.3.9. as IF for my UHF/SHF transverters. Everything
goes well till I need to set high side LO injection :(
The displayed frequency is OK, but got only a steady
noise from speaker. There is a some zero beat vertical
line right on the middle of the panadapter -
independent on tuned frequency or antenna input.

The low side LO setup is working fine. I'm not sure
if everything is recalculated automatically with high
side LO, or do I make some manually in the setup. I
was seeking for similar issues on list archive, some
are really there, but cant open it from archive due
access failure.

I will be very grateful for any idea how to use PowerSDR
this way because PowerSDR is doing an excellent job...
