<p>the approach is certainly ok, however allow me two remarks:</p>
<p> That mentioned 2,7 kHz is the <b>net</b> bandwidth, i.e.
difference between the lower edge and the upper edge of the audio
spectrum. No problem to use 100 - 2800 Hz.</p>
<p>Each microphone has an individual frequency response. This
'input' can/will significantly modify these praised W1AEX
profiles. All HPSDR stuff applies the TI audio codec TLV320 with a
14 kohms input resistance. This device is developed in particular
for high impedance electret microphones and each mismatch (e.g.
with dynamic mic) deforms the frequency response dramatically. New
adjustment is always advisable.<br>
