[hpsdr] thermocouples

I never was sure how the professionals treat the measuring end of the 
thermocouple.  I just twist and hit with a hammer.  Not sure how reliable 
that is. 

As for the measuring instrument end:  the ones I've seen have connectors of 
the same material, but somewhere there has to be a connection to copper.
