I am wanting to get back at some point to experimenting with DSP again. I keep looking out for a way in that will fit into my Erlang framework as the kind of building block approach I had way back with Python. I really don't want to play in C/C++ as I do enough of that at work and dynamic languages are really much more fun.  I was going through some Lisp tutorials just to compare Lisp and Erlang and somehow stumbled across http://lush.sourceforge.net/ which looks a possibility.

On a quick read I recon it can be made into an Erlang node because of its excellent C integration. Only downside I can see is it only runs under Cygwin on Windows.Does anyone know of this or has used it? Does it look capable of doing the heavy lifting needed in the current DSP engine?
