[hpsdr] Introductory Books SDR

Hi,

I have been a kit builder, not from scratch type, and I am interested in learning more about SDR principles, design and building. Can anyone recommend some good books to start with? 

I have a bit of background with programming in several languages and databases including: C, C++, java, mySQL, etc and several books on entry level electromagnetics, and some books on antenna theory and design and QRP design.
