Hi George

I can't recommend a book, although I do have a copy of Lyons
"Understanding Digital Signal Processing", an excellent entry level DSP
book, although not specific to SDR and it misses out much that is
important for our application.

For the software side I'd recommend that you look at the source code of
DttSP which is at the core of PowerSDR, you can find it in the PowerSDR
source distribution. It's written in object orientated C, or if you
prefer pure C++ you can look at my version of DttSP, that can be found
at http://uwsdr.berios.de

I did a commentary on the receive side which I'm sure I can dig out if
you want it. Despite being software, the IF strip looks very similar to
an analogue IF, just better.

For the hardware side, someone else will have to help out.
