Nice amplifier design thoughts, but I think it's going to be better to keep the transmitter and receivers separate. Then if someone wanted a receive-only operation, they wouldn't have to install the transmitter.

       If Casmir has to be split to a seperate HF  only version does it not make more sense to give Horton a trumpet and so  amalgamate the designs??
  
 Following from Alex's comments I can imagine a  QSE/QSD to set of 10 x4 pole active filters, amp reverse switchable by say  FST3125/6 using Norton style amp with either 4x PMBFJ310 or BFQ17etc. Tx output  could be brought up to say a 10w level with the new Mitubishi RD00HHS1 driving a  P/P pair of RD06HHF1 MOS Fets.
