For direct RF digitization, the Analog Devices AD9444 or AD9445 may be
better than the Linear Technology ADC as the IMD is lower, giving a 102 dBFS
two-tone dynamic range. The data sheet makes it clear that LVDS outputs must
be used to obtain this level of performance so either a remote ADC board or
shielding of the ADC input may be required to prevent contamination by
digital noise radiated by on-board logic, the Atlas bus and adjacent cards.
