Speaking of Lionheart...

Do we understand how we're going to boot a newborn Lionheart [Richard
the, early post-Normal king, era of the precursors of the Fitzwilliams,
et al., sort of Irishy] that has no firmware in it at all? Or where we
get firmware and loaders to do it? So far, we all seem to be depending
on the design and code that comes with the Xylo/Saxo, but wouldn't we
have to license that or something and be certain that our hardware
layout was compatible with it? Or do we roll our own?

Looking through the specs for the FX2, I2C EEPROMs, Cyclones [I presume
that Cyclone II is similar, but will check] and Altera's EPCS chips and
design notes, I'm getting an idea of how it could be done, but I wonder
if it's all figured out somewhere I haven't stumbled on yet. Pointers
appreciated.

P.S. - Maybe that's too hard to think about after a few Guinesses; then
again maybe that's the best possible time.

Folks

Aw common folks it's St. Paddys day! Someone say something (hic).
Weather is nice here about 62 deg F. Got my 5 tomato plants mulched
planted and staked today, since I left work 2 hours early. I have to
work tomorrow so took payback early, got a few hours of additional
light, which I'll miss 2 morrow restarting servers. Bermudagrass is just
starting to green up under the weeds in my lawn, so fertilized with Weed
and Feed. It will probably frost next week sometime and I'll have to
cover the tomato stakes and cages with a tarp and put a droplight out
there to keep them alive. I just got too much work out there to
sacrifice them! Skeeters are starting to show up and the lizards are
sunning in the afternoons on the deck. How's the weather where you are?

(Smile)

Hey I noticed we got over 50 orders for the Atlas.... ON WITH THE
LIONHEART!
