I would assume the possibility of getting it to work
on USB1.1 depends on the "software" implemented more
than the hardware built.
- you would need to get USB1.1 working with the
cypress firmware, for example starting with USRP code.
Presumably you could do that with any board having
the cypress chip (USRP, a Xylo, a Digilent NEXYS, etc)
without waiting for HPSDR boards
- you would need to modify FPGA code to limit the data
to USB1.1 plausible rates. Again, you could probably
do something by trying to get the USRP code working at
a reduced rate, sending test data. This may mean
throttling your output dynamic range and/or sample
rate over the designed intent of the hardware...
- and of course you would need to make modifications
in the USB interface of client software (power SDR or
whatever you plan to use)
