[hpsdr] Are there any plans to use an SCA framework such as OSSIE in the radio?

What is your experience and/or concerns with the SCA?

I see benefits as waveform portability with other SDR radios.  For instance,
Ossie has several waveforms already including:
AM Receiver

Narrowband FM transmitter and receiver

BPSK/CVSD Voice transmitter and receiver

BPSK modulated packetized data transmitter and receiver

that are apparently used one the USRP SDR ( http://www.ettus.com/ ).

While I have 'no dog in the hunt' so to speak, the guys at
sdrforum.orgdescribe in their objectives abstraction, common
interfaces, etc in the
