Hint:  When listening, I use Audacity to increase the tempo
of the recording by 25% or 33%.  The effect increases the
rate of speech without increasing the pitch of the speech.
This reduces the time for listening, and seems to increase
my comprehension.

Also, for listeners who have English as a second language,
you can reduce the tempo for easier comprehension.

In Audacity, select the portion of the file, or all of the
file, click on Effect, click on Change Tempo.  Then you can
play at the new tempo.
