Nathan Sokol's Class E Patent expired years ago. I think it was granted in
the early 1980's, and expired in the late 1990's.
If you are thinking of doing drain modulation of a Class "E" then Nathan's
patent is not the one to worry about.  There has been a lot of work
in that area by people other than Nathan.
