I'm sure analog video will be around in various other places for a
while. Any analog video solution would need to support 50/60 Hz
field rates, 625/525 lines and PAL/NTSC/SECAM colour encoding. As
you say, high definition video of some kind will be needed as well,
as standard definition analog monitors and TVs become increasingly rare.
