[hpsdr] Cooling Requirements?

I'm that way too.  I prefer to do most engineering calculations in SI units, as it just seems to be easier.  In college, we used both.

Unfortunately, I have a hard time physically understanding some SI units.  I can't look at my computer and tell you how many cm wide it is.  Yet, I can say its about 16 inches.  I don't know how hot 50 deg C is, yet I know that 72 deg F is comfortable for me and I start sweating at about 85 deg F.  ;)
