Thanks for the congrats, Bill but they actually are for you and Phil's
and Lyle and TAPR team who permit us just to connect everything and play
with this "special wonderful radio".I don't know where you can find the
time to do all this job!
About the PTT problem, I've done a few more tests and qso this morning
and it appears to be a PC cpu overload, when the SDR doens't return
immediately to rx, I see that my cpu load is at 100% level, (and led D4
on OZY is on) and a few (2 to 5) seconds later, it goes down and the
SDR return to rx, and led D4 on OZY goes off.
So, I have suppressed all unnecessary Windows services, firewall,
antivirus, change buffers size, etc..but it was still not good. After
that, I have increase the priority of PowerSDR from normal to real time
and that solve the problem.
I can run at 192 Khz, but my cpu load is ~70%.
Another observation: the mike gain seems to be higher than with normal
sound cards.
I also must report that the write_i2c commands for the codec, in the
initozy.bat are generating an 'application error" message, but
everything looks fine when running PowerSDR.
73, Roland f8chk.
