It still has to undergo the 100 watt transmitter testing and IP3 testing. 
Phil VK6APH will be doing that.  The T50 cores are wound on lower
permeability cores than normal, and should perform as well as the
T50 LPF cores used in the 100 watt Elecraft K2.

If I need to move up to T-68 cores, I think I have figured out how that
might be done and still fit in the same housing.  It would likely 
require going
from a 2 layer to a 4 layer board for the transmit board.

Ans yes, this one is planed to be only offered as a kit.  The mixture of 
surface
mount and a lot of through hole would bother most contract manufacturers.
