Assuming that you are going to use the same technique (outband
spectrum data) that I developed for use in the QS1R, there is no
reason why the displayed bandwidth cannot be 4, 6, 8 or more MHz.  The
picture of SDRMAXII showing 2 MHz of spectrum is definitely not the
upper limit.  It is just as easy to show all 55 MHz of spectrum on the
panadapter (which I have done).

What is the target upper limit for real time data?  Since this will be
converted to serial data to be sent over the ATLAS bus, I guess that
would be the limiting factor.
