Bill,

While you can certainly obtain the ByteBlaster cable from Altera it's  
very expensive from them (around $300, I believe!).  There are  
ByteBlaster cable clones available that work identically and are much  
cheaper; e.g., the Terasic Blaster cable, guaranteed to function  
identically to the ByteBlaster (I recently paid $86 including  
shipping) from Terasic Technologies Inc. (www.terasic.com).
