You only need one 122.88MHz oscillator and one 10MHz oscillator - installed on either Mercury or Penelope (or can use an external 10MHz source).  You'll need to make up a short jumper cable to pull the 122.88 clock over to the other board.

Probably best to install these on Penelope because installing them on Mercury results in low level spurs (from 10MHz clock).
