[hpsdr] I2C HCI interface

Hi,

Are there any plans for an I2C interface to PowerSDR / SASQUATCH
that would allow people to roll their own hardware front panels (real knobs etc)?

I did a search of the list and found very few posts on the subject. While I agree 
most people don't mind using a P.C to control the radio, making a small IC7000
remotable type display makes a nice little fun project to do using whatever bits one has 
around the shack. I have a rapidly growing pile of old evaluation boards and LCD
displays mainly the result of 'gifts' sitting around the shack and it seems a shame to throw 
them out.
