[hpsdr] Problem with Penny!

Hi all,
   
  Penny worked on transmit without Janus installed giving 140mW out using an earlier version of the PowerSDR software - can't remember which one, but when I updated via svn to the latest version (PowerSDR branches kd5tfd PennyMerge 1.10.4 + Base SVN 2326), the PowerSDR load fails with a message asking if Janus is installed/powered. The problem is peculiar because it is intermittent. The setup is just Ozy + Penny on the Atlas bus, - using entirely separate receiver not SDR1000. Any advice please?
  On another issue - is a general release coming soon which allows Penny to operate at 0.5W output - with ALC disabled? I don't have any facility here to delve into the source code.
