Hi Greg,


The Janus board was originally designed to be a
high-performance sound card substitute for use
with the SDR-1000.  I believe that Mercury and
Penelope do not need the additional analog-to-digital
and digital-to-analog converters on Janus.

For Penelope, perhaps one of the alpha board
testers can comment on the need for output filtering.
