Hi Joe,

The A/J/O combo is intended to replace the internal sound card in your 
PC. There are a number of reasons for doing this - Janus performs as 
well as the best professional sound cards; there are no issues with the 
internal sound card clock being at a slightly different speed than the 
ADC clock on Janus.

Your sound card would be OK for the Rx audio and it is possible to 
compensate for clock errors, but this is the way we choose to design 
the system. If you **have** to use your internal sound card for Rx 
audio then let me know and I'll try and explain where/how you need to 
modify the PowerSDR code.
