Some ideas for small o/s on small boards!


nLite looks interesting to rid the Doze of Windows and greatly reduce the size of the  o/s for a stand alone solution.

One EEPC user detailed a 150mb intall. Anybody know what the depencies are in terms of a Windows system for PowerSDR??

There is also a Vista version vLite, though I saw a reference to be able to use unsigned drivers so might be worth a look.

For Linux, Puppy linux now looks even better, a variation that has an 70mb iso is here http://www.puppylinux.org/downloads/puplets/wolf-pup-linux-200
