I used to develop transputer-based systems. David May who founded XMOS also 
designed the transputer; it's nice to see that the concept has been 
resurrected.

I've put my name down for one of the $99 XC-1 dev kits, and will be going to 
an XMOS seminar in London next month. I'll get another kit there. One can't 
have too many MIPS. 8-)

I have a very helpful contact at XMOS and he mentioned to me that they have 
a DSP specialist on-board. My contact was just about to get on a plane to 
the USA when I spoke to him, but he'll put me in touch when he gets back.
