[hpsdr] OZY with MERCURY: which LEDs should be on/off on OZY?

Hi all,
I recently received my ATLAS, OZY and MERCURY boards. After having
successfully assembled ATLAS, downloaded and installed the USBIO driver,
Frameworks 1.1 and 2.2 SP1, as well as PowerSDR1.10.4+BaseSVN2025, I started
PowerSDR. And I was extremely positively surprised that a spectrum appeared
on the display! Then I connected my HP8640B HF generator and calibrated the
power level. Whow, it worked!!! A big thank you to HPSDR and TAPR!
I have AF dropouts, even at 48kHz bandwidth and 2048 bits buffer size (with
a 50 Ohms termination at the antenna input, and all three boards in a metal
box). I surmise the culprit is my laptop (Pentium IV, 3 GHz, 512MB RAM). But
before I start to work on that, I would like to make sure that my OZY and
MERCURY are working ok.
In this respect I have two questions:
Q1: My boards were shipped on Feb 25, 2009. I assume the firmware loaded
would be the newest version available on that date. Is this correct?
Q2: The LEDs on MERCURY are on/off as given in the manual, including the
A/D overload indicator D11.
However, I did not find any hints on which LEDs should be on/off on OZY when
running with MERCURY.
The LEDs on my OZY are as follows (PowerSDR running, RX on):
D1 off
D2 briefly on for the duration of an AF dropout
D3 off
D4 on, goes off briefly during an AF dropout (seems to be the inverse of
D2)
D5-8 on
D9 blinking at a rate of approx 1 sec
D11&11 off
D12 on
Is this how it should be, i.e. are my OZY & MERCURY running ok?
Your help and comments are greatly appreciated,
Walter, HB9AJG
