I echo Frank's sentiments. Unless you can find that hidden uninstall  
file, removing Mcafee 'breaks' the TCP/IP stack. The standard removal  
procedure removes a piece of code which is inserted into the stack by  
the install procedure but doesn't join up the hole left by the  
removal. i've lost count of the number of people who have asked me for  
help when they've come up against this trying to remove Macafee (sp?).
