Hi Roland,
I am able to find a difference between Kordic and cordic. The former has some 22 spurs between 0-55MHz that are not present with cordic. I've let Kirk know this and he is going to modify Kordic to include the innovations that Cathy Moss provided.
I started working on Phoenix again this weekend. The project leader, Richard, VK6BRO has now established himself in VK8 and we had a few interesting 'phone calls as we set up his PC to run the various items of software. I hope that by now Richard has a working system.
The latest Phoenix files are under SVN here

The current Alpha Phoenix boards do work. In conjunction with PowerSDR if forms a complete QSD/QSE transceiver. However, there is one major issue, the level of spurs from the AD9912 are horrific!. Since others use this device successfully I hope that its a simple fix.
Work on Mercury and other projects has kept me away from Phoenix but with Richard now on board again I hope we can progress it further.

Hi all,
I want to say thank you to Kirk for his very nice job on explaining Verilog's code for the hpsdr boards! I have learn a lot!
Right now, I am running the test code on Mercury, Penelope and Ozy, receiving and transmitting with no problem, I cannot see any difference between Kordic and cordic on Mercury.
These boards are now my main equipment, followed by a TS50's amplifier and filters, with a home made broadband hexbeam antenna, I enjoy dxing in ssb!
What are the news from Phoenix, I have a Janus and Ozy boards waiting her to play..
73, Roland f8chk.
