Hello Everyone

You may be interested in this video blog in which describes a process of cascading five Analog Devices AD8298-40 (40 mhz) dual a/d converters under the control of an Altera FPGA to get a a 1 Ghz sample rate system. The system is used in an low end oscilloscope manufactured by Rigol.

It seems to me that a similar system of cascading a/d convertors could be used in the HPSDR environment to extend the frequency range of systems.

BTW other video blogs from this gentleman provide useful information and entertaining watching. Better than watching one of the reality TV shows. hihi.
