Dear All,

Despite the use of a well lit magnifying glass I am unable to find any 
marking, dot, line, bevelled edge or anything that helps me to make up 
my mind which is pin number 1 on the 6 V regulator IC L78L06, U4. 
however the identical to look at 5v regulator is marked and I've taken a 
50-50 chance by mounting U4 in the same alignment as far as the printed 
on its top surface is concerned.  I wonder if someone can please tell me 
whether this is right or wrong.
