How about using a Torrent for the big files? I am not familiar
with the CDROM size files that Bob mentioned, but .iso files are >
600MB and flow easily through a Torrent system. I would be happy
to apply my mITX to Torrent serving.
In the past 3 days I have been serving pieces of the brand new
Ubuntu "Lucid" 10.04 to people from 40 different countries. Each
seems happy to get a 14Kbps flow from me, whilst getting the other
parts elsewhere on the globe.
just a thought,
