[hpsdr] Problem with Mercury

Hi all,

I had exactly the same problem as Brian with Penelope installed together
with Mercury - random spikes on start for a few seconds then a complete
freeze with PowerSDR. I'm using a new PC with a completely fresh install
of XP plus the .net libraries etc. Mercury ran fine on its own and so
have been playing with it without Penelope for the last couple of days -
it's an awesome bit of kit - thanks so much to everyone who has worked
so hard to bring it to fruition.

The board order was as per the quick start guide at
http://hpsdr.org/wiki/index.php?title=Quick_Startup_Guide

so

J5: Mercury
J3: Penelope (J8 left open)
J2: Ozy

Following Daniels instructions below - deleting PowerSDR.mdb and
switching the board order to:

J6: Mercury
J4: Penelope
J2: Ozy

Everything is now working fine - big thank you for the help.

Before (without Penelope) I was getting occasional audio drop-outs from
Mercury - half a second of silence once every 30 seconds or so - this
also seems much improved so far with only occasional drops (maybe every
couple of minutes). I'm geussing this is to do with the clock change and
would probably disapear completely when I take the plunge and upgrade
Mercury with the newer code.

As an aside, for the first time so far with the boards I wasn't hit for
import duty when Mercury was delivered here in the UK a few days ago.
Result!

Thanks again all, whilst I've been little more than a lurker on the list
since Atlas was initially talked about this is an awesome project and
it's fabulous to have a working system up and running.

Best,

Dominic - G6NQO
