Hi Guys

Just to let you know that the LPU kit arrived today (actually  
yesterday but I was out).

Here's a little question for UK amateurs: I thought kits were VAT  
exempt, yet HM Customs & Excise have charged me £3.74 VAT on the kit  
alone. They did not charge VAT on the postage I'm glad to say. However  
Royal Mail do charge £8 handling fee! Looks like a licence to print  
money. :-) Does anyone know whether kits are VAT exempt? If so, I  
shall pursue a refund - dream on.
