*** TAPR ANNOUNCES NEW HPSDR ENCLOSURE***
High Performance Software Defined Radio Project (HPSDR)
*IMPORTANT*

3 March 2009

TAPR and HPSDR need your input on the Pandora enclosure for Atlas and
related HPSDR projects!

Pandora is a professionally manufactured painted aluminum case that will
hold Atlas and attached boards, the LPU power supply, and the Alex
filter set, with room left over for other goodies. It includes numerous
ventilation slots and has provision for a cooling fan.

Design work is finished, prototypes are being fabricated as I type this,
and we hope to start delivery in May/June 2009. If we can do 500 units,
we estimate the price to be $99 for TAPR members and $109 for
non-members (plus shipping).

More information about Pandora, including some CAD renderings, is
available at http://hpsdr.org/wiki/index.php?title=PANDORA

Please go to the link below and indicate your interest by March 17th,
2009. Enclosure quantities will be determined by the collective
expression of interest on this date. (We anticipate starting the order
process not long after the interest list closes.)

To register your interest you need to go to Dale’s (WA8SRA) HAMSDR
website, in the projects section.

If you are a member and have previously expressed interest in these
projects, log in and re-enter your Quantities of each board.

If you are new to HPSDR and Dale’s Website, please join for instant
access by providing the information requested.
