Please, if you are going to put a date in an article - use a complete
date; the day, month, and year.

An article I am currently trying to read has some dates with only the
day and month - because the article spans several years of development
it is unsure which year the note relates to.

Please avoid notation which make it ambiguous as to the month.... is
12/8/07 the 12 Aug or 8 Dec? Spelling out the month is much better.
