Another point to consider is consistency.
Look at the problems TAPR is having in getting
toroids that meet spec.  We're more likely to
have uniformity in the toroids that TAPR obtains
in one batch.

If you use a toroid from your stock that looks
probably the same, we might be hearing from you
about your Alex not performing as expected.


Remember the Ozy Cyclone-II C7N / C8N issue?

The toroids are critical parts in Alex.

I don't mind winding toroids any more than
assembling Atlas, LPU, Excalibur, or Pennywhistle.
