When using my pandora boxed hpsdr/picopsu in my URBAN environment I cannot
trace any noise contributions attributable to the picopsu. If I had a rural
location with low noise antennas/low noise environment it might be another
story!
I did swap my 2 picopsu in case there were production inconsistencies but it
didnt make a difference
I havent done any mods to the picopsu, apart from cutting off ALL the extra
leads/plugs, as none were needed for the HPSDR

Hi Dave, All,
Yes, the PicoPSU was discussed here on this forum before.
I think Phil VK6APH tested it for noise and I think he reported some
issues regarding noise/interference with it when used as power supply for
HPSDR, but good to hear it works for you.
Did you do something special/extra to get away from the noise issue?
Thank you for your reply,
73's,
Henry.

I havent used that one but I have used the picopsu-120-wi-25 from
www.mini-box.com to run my hpsdr portable for the last 6 months without
incident or noise issues. I also use one to run my D945gclf2 motherboard. I
would get a more of them (one to run my other D945gclf2 motherboard) but
they have been out of stock at that web site for the last 3 months!

Hello All,
Is there anybody on the list who has used this 12 Volt mobile PSU,
maybe even as a PSU for HPSDR?
Would like to know how this PSU behaves, in particular wrt. PSU noise
etc.
